Product Showcase with Product Description
EOS partnered with Science Centre Singapore to create ‘Earth Alive’, an interactive exhibition that allows its visitors to experience the processes that drive earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and climate change. It presents some impacts that these Earth processes and people have on each other and highlights stories from Southeast Asia.
EOS conducts fieldwork in and around Singapore to understand and forecast the hazards that Southeast Asia faces. Pictured here are EOS scientists measuring the elevations of corals in Sentosa, Singapore, to understand past sea levels and tectonic activity, which in turn informs future projections.
Infographic explaining how studying the appearance of coral microatolls can reveal the earthquake history of a region. This is one of the many educational products about Earth sciences that EOS creates for different audiences.
