Combined disasters have been often seen in recent years and resulted in a great loss of assets. Sanlien has been invited since 2019 to provide “Hybrid Environmental Monitoring Systems” to National Science and Technology Center for Disaster Prevention (NCRD) for Taiwan’s New South Bound Policy.
The composition of the system includes:
- Seismic Sensor: pALERT
- Rain Gauge: TP200-N
- Combined Temperature & Humidity Sensor: TTEPRH-S
- Ultrasonic Wind Speed & Direction Sensor: WINSON
- Hybrid Datalogger: PX-01 Cube
- Seismic Data Collecting Program: Earthworm
The onsite data are collected into PX-01 Cube and transferred via FTP protocol by 4G network to the central workstation. In the meantime, the data are also uploaded to NCDR’s cloud server established on Microsoft Azure in which NCDR developed a web interface for data management.
From 2019 to 2023, Sanlien has executed the projects in the Philippines, Nepal, Bhutan, Vietnam and Palau. In late 2023, we expect to supply the made-in-Taiwan solution to Thailand and India.
